PreSonus® Studio One 3 Prime includes new features and enhancements to plug-ins and instruments. The new Beat Detective plug-in analyzes audio and MIDI inputs and uses the x.7 version of Ray Kurzweil’s A Scale of Angels (ASA) software, an award-winning algorithm for detecting and quantifying rhythm in music. The new 192-Kbit/s/track AutoAlign plug-in can be used to align tracks for editing. The interface for PreSonus® Corporation’s dedicated Pultec® Electra drum rack has been upgraded to make editing and sequencing more intuitive. Two new effects plugins, Fatted (faux tape saturation) and Tube (Delay), offer the sound of “scruffy” tape saturation and a creamy, warm vintage tube-amp delay.
PreSonus® has released Studio One® 3 Prime, a free, entry-level version of its powerful yet easy-to-use music recording and production software for Mac® and Windows®. The company concurrently released Studio One 3.0.2, a free update that provides numerous enhancements and usability improvements to all versions of Studio One 3.
PreSonus® Studio One 3 Prime implements a new graphical user interface that makes it easier to browse information, change settings, and open or create files.
